Welcome to FirellySAT ("FirellySAT", "we", "us", or "our"), accessible at firelly.in ("the Platform"). FirellySAT is an independent, AI-powered SAT preparation service.
Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not access or use the Platform.
You must be at least 13 years old to use FirellySAT. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
If you are between 13 and 17 years of age, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf before you use the Platform. Parents or guardians who register on behalf of a minor accept full responsibility for the minor's use and compliance with these Terms.
We do not knowingly permit children under 13 to create accounts or use the Platform. If we discover that a user is under 13, we will terminate their account and delete associated data. If you believe a child under 13 has registered, please contact us immediately at firellysat@gmail.com.
For users aged 13–17: FirellySAT does not use behavioral profiling, targeted advertising, or sell personal data of minors. We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the educational service. Use of AI features by minors is subject to parental consent requirements described in our Privacy Policy.
FirellySAT uses Google Sign-In ("Sign in with Google") for account creation and authentication, powered by NextAuth.js. By signing in, you authorize us to access the basic profile information provided by Google (your name, email address, and profile picture) solely to create and maintain your FirellySAT account. Our use of Google account information complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising or any purpose beyond authentication and service delivery.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activities that occur under your FirellySAT account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach at firellysat@gmail.com.
You may not create more than one account, share your account with others, or transfer your account to another person.
FirellySAT provides SAT preparation tools including but not limited to: practice question banks, diagnostic tests, AI-generated study plans, AI explanations and tutoring, mock tests, a vocabulary system, progress tracking, and a calm-mode study environment.
Certain features are available to all registered users at no charge ("Free Features"). Premium features including AI mentor responses, AI test image analysis, and unlimited AI-generated study sessions are available exclusively to FirellySAT Pro subscribers ("Pro Features").
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Platform at any time, with or without notice. We will endeavor to provide reasonable advance notice for material changes that affect Pro subscribers.

Payment Processor: LemonSqueezy (A Stripe Company)
Auto-Renewal Disclosure: Your FirellySAT Pro subscription automatically renews each month at the then-current price of $5.99/month until you cancel. You will be charged on your original purchase date each month. By subscribing, you authorize us (via LemonSqueezy) to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
Price Changes: We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increase. Continued use of Pro Features after a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new price.
Promotional Discounts: Introductory or promotional discount codes (e.g., first-month discounts) apply only to the stated billing period. Subsequent billing cycles are charged at the standard rate.
Taxes: Prices may be subject to applicable taxes depending on your location. Taxes will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
How to Cancel: You may cancel your FirellySAT Pro subscription at any time through the LemonSqueezy billing portal. A cancellation link is provided in your subscription confirmation email and in your account settings. After cancellation, your Pro access remains active until the end of your current paid billing period. No partial-month refunds are issued for cancellations mid-cycle.

For California residents: Under California Business and Professions Code §17601 (Automatic Renewal Law), you have specific rights regarding automatic renewal disclosures. These are provided above. You may cancel at any time as described above.
FirellySAT is an independent educational platform. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to College Board, Khan Academy, Princeton Review, or any other test preparation organization.
SAT® is a registered trademark of College Board. "College Board" is used solely to identify the standardized test for which FirellySAT provides preparation content. Use of these marks does not imply any affiliation.
Practice questions available on the Platform that originate from College Board's publicly accessible SAT Suite Question Bank (satsuitequestionbank.collegeboard.org) remain the intellectual property of College Board. FirellySAT does not claim ownership of College Board's content. Such content is made available for educational, non-commercial practice purposes consistent with College Board's public availability of that content. Additionally, FirellySAT creates original practice questions using AI systems ("FirellySAT Originals") which are clearly distinguished from College Board content.
Score predictions, improvement estimates, and performance analytics shown in FirellySAT are algorithmic estimates based solely on your activity within our Platform. They are provided for motivational and planning purposes only.
FirellySAT is not responsible for any decisions made based on predicted scores, including college application choices or enrollment decisions.
FirellySAT uses third-party AI models (including NVIDIA and Hugging Face hosted models) to power AI features such as study plans, question explanations, AI mentor responses, AI-generated practice questions, and test score analysis.
Transparency: In accordance with applicable law including the EU AI Act (Article 50, effective August 2, 2026) and FTC transparency guidelines, AI-generated content within the Platform is identified as such. We do not represent AI-generated content as authored by human SAT instructors unless explicitly reviewed and verified by a qualified educator.
Important limitations:
College Board questions and AI: FirellySAT does not transmit College Board copyrighted question content to AI systems. AI features operate on FirellySAT Original questions or paraphrased content only.
FirellySAT is not liable for any harm arising from reliance on AI-generated content.
You agree to use FirellySAT solely for personal, non-commercial SAT preparation. You agree not to:
The Platform allows you to create content such as personal study notes, annotations, and tags ("User Content"). Your User Content is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers (except where you use AI features, in which case relevant content is sent to AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy).
You retain ownership of your User Content. By using AI features with your notes or questions, you grant us and our AI provider partners a limited license to process that content solely to provide the requested AI response.
All original Platform content — including but not limited to the FirellySAT brand, Firefly visual theme, Calm Mode system, AI study plan framework, application code, interface design, and FirellySAT Original questions — is the intellectual property of FirellySAT and its creator and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
No portion of the Platform may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or incorporated into other works without our prior written consent. Subscription to FirellySAT Pro grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access Pro Features during your subscription period.
The Platform may contain links to or integrations with third-party services including Google (authentication), LemonSqueezy (payments), NVIDIA, and Hugging Face (AI). These third parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies. FirellySAT is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or reliability of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is entirely at your own risk.
By you: You may close your account at any time by contacting us at firellysat@gmail.com. If you have an active Pro subscription, cancel it first to avoid further charges.
By us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your license to use the Platform ceases immediately. Pro subscription fees are not refundable upon termination for cause.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FIRESAT AND ITS CREATOR PROVIDE THE PLATFORM "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.
We do not warrant that: (a) the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time; (b) defects will be corrected; (c) the Platform is free of viruses or harmful components; (d) AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or fit for any purpose; or (e) any score prediction will reflect actual SAT performance.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FIRESAT, ITS CREATOR, OFFICERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR RELIANCE ON SCORE PREDICTIONS OR AI-GENERATED CONTENT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN ALL CASES, OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF SUBSCRIPTION FEES YOU PAID TO FIRESAT IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR USD $10.00, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FirellySAT and its creator from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your use of the Platform in a manner not authorized by these Terms; (c) your User Content; or (d) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protection provisions of the law of your country of residence, and nothing in these Terms shall deprive you of such rights. If you are a resident of the United States, please also note that consumer protection laws of your state may apply.
Before filing any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at firellysat@gmail.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will try to respond and resolve disputes within 30 days. Nothing in this section prevents you from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date above, and where appropriate, by email to your registered address. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform.
